We will be visiting Florence again this March and plan to bring friends up to have dinner again at Caffe Desiderio. Perhaps we will have time to look at some of the other places listed on your website.

I've just been looking at your great little website. My sister and I stayed with our second cousin in Settignano for 4 days in early September and really enjoyed it. We had a wander around and took the enclosed photo looking down Via Del Pianerottolo, bought stamps at the Post Office in Piazza Tommaseo and often caught the No 10 from there into Florence. After the busy-ness of central Florence, with people everywhere, it was great to return home to the quietness. We also enjoyed the great views from Settignano and experienced an amazing thunderstorm one night with forked lightning. In New Zealand we usually only have sheet lightning. I would love to come back some day. Our second cousin, who we only discovered very recently, is keen for us to make a return visit!
